Illustrator Jon Grant came to Sacramento from Austin to show off his bike part illustrations during NAHBS.

Grant does professional illustration work for the high tech industry around Austin, Texas, but you might know him more for his illustrations in Rivendell catalogs. He’s also designed head badges, bike logos and bike jersey graphics.

Jon Grant says there’s a story behind each of his sketches. For the derailleur he’s pointing at here, he was riding near Lawton Oklahoma and was nearly run over by a herd of buffalo.
