The 10th Annual North American Handmade BIcycle Show wrapped up yesterday afternoon in Charlotte, North Carolina. I wasn’t there.
JCTDesign was there and posted bike pr0n to his Intstagram.
John Prolly posted a href=”http://prollyisnotprobably.com/”>several good highlights over the busy weekend, including this overview of Peacock Groove’s truck bike.
If you’re in it just for the pictures and not the articles, you can find several photos from NAHBS 2014 in the NAHBS 2014 group at Flickr.
Finally, the NAHBS has an official Youtube channel where several videos from the show floor highlighting the various builders were uploaded over the weekend.
Pictured above is a Bike Friday modified by Bike Monkey of Santa Rosa, CA with a Rohloff hub and Carbon Gates belt drive.
Thanks for the mention, Richard. I have a lot more pictures from the show that I will post to Flickr…hopefully later today.
The Bike Friday was done by Cycle Monkey of Albany, CA, not Bike Monkey. From what I understand, Cycle Monkey is the only shop in the US that is authorized by the company to service on Rohloff hubs. I could not have set up my Rohoff-equipped touring bike without their help.
