Five years ago, 20-something Andy Welch quit his office job and began a bike trek to Sakartvelo, which I think is Georgia (the former SSR, not the American state where peach pies and sweet tea originate). You can read about his adventures in his self-published travelogue Weave of the Ride.

Can somebody buy this book and tell me about it?
The book by San Francsico State University Associate Professor in Environmental Studies Dr Jason Henderson covers the politics of San Francisco’s “Transit First” policy, along with the reality that automobiles continue to dominate the streets of San Francisco in spite of significant strides by livability advocates.
Locals can attend the book launch this Friday, April 19 at The 3rd Floor of McRoskey Mattress Factory, 1687 Market St, San Francisco beginning at 7 PM. 5 PM gets you in the door, or buy the book and get in for free.
