The US District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) released a couple of bicycle safety PSAs last spring.
The videos were produced by DDOT in collaboration with WABA. I hadn’t seen these before, but it’s good to have a public agency create something with semi-official sanction like this for the general public. I don’t know if these were actually aired on local cable stations and what not, and it’s a little discouraging to see so few online views. This “right hook” video, for example, only has 54 views as of this writing, according to YouTube’s stats.
This second video (only 33 views) demonstrates the hazards of dooring.
