November Baiku

Trailsnet reminds that I haven’t posted a bike haiku in ages! What’s wrong with me?

Warm northern zephyr.
Coast Highway to Half Moon Bay.
Tailwinds on return!

It’s not my best work, but I should already have been on my way. It has the important parts: besides the basic 5-7-5 pattern, each line stands on its own and there’s a weather or nature theme involved.

A stiff wind from the north is already blowing and will pick up during the day. High in the 70s today!

Warren in Overland Park, KS posts a baiku too. What’s your bike haiku?

  1. First of all, I love the name “baiku.” That falls into the “why didn’t I think of that” category.
Secondly, thanks for the link to trailsnet.
Speaking of trailsnet, I just added the cyclelicious blog to the trailsnet blog blogroll. My readers will enjoy your baikus.
