It’s not my best work, but I should already have been on my way. It has the important parts: besides the basic 5-7-5 pattern, each line stands on its own and there’s a weather or nature theme involved.
A stiff wind from the north is already blowing and will pick up during the day. High in the 70s today!

First of all, I love the name “baiku.” That falls into the “why didn’t I think of that” category.
