Via Velo — San Jose’s first open streets event — takes place Saturday, May 15 from 10 AM to 3 PM.

West Fernando Street across downtown San Jose from the Guadalupe River Trail, across Cesar Chavez Park to 3rd Street will be closed to motor traffic and open for play. View more details and a list of events and activities at the SVBC website. I’ll be there with my camera from 10 AM until about noon with my daughter. I’m not sure yet if I’ll have a bike with me or not.
