James Thomas of Bicycle Design has started a “#VeloThursday” theme at Google Plus, where people post their bike themed photos to Google’s social media page.

I’ve posted a handful so far, including this one from the 2009 Amgen Tour of California in Winters California during the Davis to Santa Rosa stage. I did this back when tilt-shift was the gimmicky fad of the day.

    Thanks for the mention, Richard! It has been a good first day for the VeloThursday theme so far. There are a lot of great photographers on Google +, so I’m looking forward seeing it grow.

    Neither of them are on G+ as far as I can tell, but wouldn’t it be cool if Graham Watson or Casey Gibson showed up with their photos?

    Maybe they will sign up for G+ just to participate. It could happen.
