For Santa Cruz County Supervisor District 5, McPherson is going to win. He’s a lifelong Republican with connections in Sacramento who has supported cycling projects in Santa Cruz County and I think he’ll do a fine job representing my district. Nonetheless, I endorse Eric Hammer. Hammer isn’t a bike hippie, but he’s a responsible businessman with strong local ties. His campaign page here.
