The editing and audio quality are pretty rough, but this student produced video shows some of the bicycle services available at the University of California Santa Cruz, including the bike library, the bike co-op, and the free bike shuttle (18 bike capacity!) from town to campus.
This video comes from the Transportation Campaign at the UCSC Student Environmental Center. The bad advice to “never use your front brake” combined with video of clearly dangerous gutter and sidewalk riding make me cringe, and I guess I’d always ride with a helmet too if I rode like that, but these kids have heart and they’ll figure it out.
