Oleg Tinkov started racing bicycles as a college student in St Petersburg back when it was still known as Leningrad. During glasnost, he abandoned his studies to become a millionaire and, eventually, to buy his own professional cycling team.
Tinkov owns Team Tinkoff-Saxo, and he still likes to ride. And in his personal team kit, no less.
