The Iowa Bicycle Coalition announced the 2012 Iowa Bicycle Expo, January 26, 2013 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA.

I’ve been to Iowa in January so I don’t know how many of the estimated 3,000+ attendees are willing to bike there, but I’m sure it’s doable. Should be a good show for those of you in the U.S. Midwest. A RAGBRAI Route Announcement Party will also take place that evening at the same location.

Grimes, Iowa city council voted Tuesday to restrict bikes from a two mile stretch of road for “safety issues.”
