Cyclist Andy Jaques-Maynes was hit from behind while riding in the bike lane on Holohan Road in Watsonville, California Sunday morning.

The twin brother to Ben Jaques-Maynes was riding to the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds to race at Surf City Cyclocross when he was hit from behind. Jaques-Maynes believes the car is a black Chevy Impala, but he only had a split second to identify the vehicle. Please be on the lookout for a black sedan in the Santa Cruz area with passenger side damage.

While Andy went to the hospital for x-rays, his brother Ben went on to win the Men’s Cat A race at Surf City on Sunday afternoon.
