About a dozen people attended last night’s short meeting revealing plans for the San Jose Bike Share program that should be ready to go Real Soon Now.
The city of San Jose will present local bike share plans TONIGHT — Wednesday June 27 2012 — beginning 6 PM at City Hall.
Plans are afoot and funds have to released to bring a public bike share to downtown San Jose. The meeting will take place at San Jose City Hall – Wing Room W-118, 119 & 120. City Hall is located on Santa Clara Street at 4th Street, immediately adjacent to the new bikeway construction on 4th.

Urban trail poaching in San Jose, California.
Those of you who regularly cycle along the Guadalupe River Trail north of Coleman Avenue and alongside Mineta San Jose International Airport have likely seen the “NO PUBLIC ACCESS” signs for that mystery trail on the east side of the river.
I happened across found footage from somebody who illegally trespassed onto this path and discovered an amazing new land of wonder and excitement in this forbidden zone behind the fence!
I’ve been closely following the bike facilities construction that began last weekend through downtown San Jose, California.
