Have you ever tried riding one of those? I've never even seen one in person….they sure are cool to look at.

I understand how you keep one of those going… but how do you start??
I see them around but have never tried one personally. I should ask to try sometime!
From what I've seen it's basically the same process as starting one of those old time Penny Farthing high wheel bikes — there's a foot peg down low, and you push off as you get up to the saddle and get the pedals going.
