This ad, which features a dad coaching and encouraging his son, reminds me of this novel by Marin County psychologist Ross Goldstein. It’s the story of a pro cyclist who gets sick of the drug scandals and quits until his dad encourages him to take up the sport again. I’ve read the story and it’s a good read; I’ll post up a bigger review soon. In the meantime, you can learn more at the author’s web site.

New York City police saw a sketchy character on a track bike wearing a balaclava riding his bicycle illegally on the sidewalk recently last winter. Police let him go with a warning after they identify him as Robin Williams.
