The January 2013 catalog for the Urban Outfitters “Free People” brand features devastatingly beautiful Dutch models on bicycles.
We all have our favorite bicycle songs, and 2012 has been an especially fruitful with at least eleven new songs that feature bikes in their music videos. I know of five that came from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Cameo by Eminem on a bicycle, too, in this exceptionally skanky video for “C’mon Let Me Ride.” I suspect the bicycle might be a metaphor for something, but I can’t figure out what that could possibly be.
I completely missed this news during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy: Street fashion photographer Bill Cunningham was seen riding his bike and snapping photos of New Yorkers the day after Sandy made landfall in New Jersey on October 29.
The 83 year old photographer for the New York Times famously rides a bicycle all around the city while wearing his trademark blue smock. You can see the hurricane edition of his photos in this slideshow.
