Mancebo to captain new American pro team

RealCyclist.com announced that Spanish professional Francisco Mancebo will captain their new U.S. Continental squad for the 2011 racing season.

In the TV show Men of a Certain Age, “Terry” (Scott Bakula) is the slightly flighty, slightly rumpled guy who can’t hold a regular job. He rides a bicycle to work. His friend “Owen” (Andre Braugher) owns a car dealership. He’s also stressed and diabetic.

1945 cycle chic

Even in 1945, photographers took pictures of women in skirts and dresses on bikes. And even with post-war privation, the women of Paris dressed up for their outings by bike.
