Santa Cruz update: Green lanes, Arana Gulch, hit and run update, and more

Ribbon cutting Wednesday, January 14, 2015 for the long-anticipated Arana Gulch Multi-Use Trail project takes place at the trailhead in the parking lot for Santa Cruz Bible Church on Frederick Street, Santa Cruz, California. Event organizers point out the ample parking. Santa Cruz People Power will be on hand for valet bike parking, too.

Guidelines to Protect the Safety of Bicyclists, Pedestrians and Disabled Travelers During Road Construction

The Santa Cruz County Health Services Agency’s Community Traffic Safety Coalition publishes a guide to ensure the safety of bicyclists and pedestrians during road construction projects. The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission Bicycle Committee have been asked to provide feedback on the next version of this guide.
