The return of nice weather to California means Highway 17 to Santa Cruz was packed with beach traffic. While those of you in the U.S. Midwest and South swelter with record heat, La NiƱa cold water conditions in the Pacific Ocean coupled with a crazy jet stream delivering arctic air straight to the California coast has resulted in cold and rain for us in California.
